Objective of Pradhan Mantri Yashshwi Yojana
Scholarships were once awarded by the Central and State Governments through various mechanisms and regulations; However, the students were unable to get the rewards of the state government schemes.
To rectify this deficiency, a new initiative for post-10th scholarships has been developed to align with the contemporary demand, as no new measures have been implemented since 1944.

Eligibility Criteria For Pradhan Mantri Yashshwi Yojana
To be eligible for PM Yashaswi Yojana 2024 (Scholarship Scheme 2024), candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Permanent Residence: Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Category: Candidates should belong to one of the following categories: OBC/EBC/DNT SAR/NT/SNT.
